The Irish national Heritage Park shows visitors many of the ancient places that were used for homes, rituals and even burials as far back as 7000 BC.
Of course, what Ireland trips would be complete without a trip to see (and kiss) the Blarney stone? Now largely a tourist attraction, the Blarney stone is over six hundred and fifty years old. Legend has it that those who kiss it will be given the gifts of eloquence and flattery. The Blarney Stone can be found at the Blarney Castle, about eight km from Cork.
